About Us

We were founded by Norman J. Pollock, Harvey A. Meyers in 1965 and a year later were joined by Richard W. Eiksteadt, a former high school and law school classmate. We practice in McHenry, Boone, DeKalb, Kane, Lake and Winnebago Counties. Our firm continues to encourage our continuing education and professional development in all our partners and associates. We offer our consultation to anyone seeking legal advice and participate in seminars, professional association activates and civic affaris. 

Norman Pollock

Born in Huntley, Illinois, August 30, 1935; admitted to the Illinois bar in 1965. He began his education at Iowa State University and at Northern Illinois University. He received his legal education at Chicago-Kent College of Law where he was a Phi Delta Phi member. Norman is an active member in the McHenry County and Illinois State Bar Associations, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund of Illinois. He has also served on the board of directors for the Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund of Colorado, Utah and Minnesota. Norman focuses his practice on estate planning, probate law, trust law, and real estate.

Harvey Meyers 

Born in Elgin, Illinois, July 21, 1934; admitted to the Illinois bar in 1965. He began his education at Northern Illinois University and studied law at Chicago-Kent College of Law where he was a Phi Delta Phi member. Harvey is member of the McHenry County and Illinois State Bar Associations, and the Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund of Illinois. He focuses his practices on real estate, banking, corporate, and bankruptcy law.

Richard W. Eicksteadt

Born in Belvidere, Illinois, July 31, 1935; admitted to the Illinois bar in 1966 He began his education at Central Missouri State College and at the University of Illinois. He studied law at Chicago-Kent College of Law where he was a Phi Delta Phi member. Richard is a member of the McHenry County and Illinois State and American Bar Associations, the Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund of Illinois. He focuses on personal injury, workers compensation, general trial practice, appellate, and administrative law.
